I've got a funky street style on the MBCG blog today!
Myself and Liv spent the day fabric and trimming shopping in Shepard's Bush and Portobello Road Markets. As it was a Thursday, the outdoor stalls were not present, but this meant we wondered a little further than we probably would have!
Soon enough we came across a wonderful vintage clothing store called 282, after a short walk from Ladbroke Grove train station!
The wonderfully cheery owner, Claudia, greeted us almost instantaneously as we entered the shop and made us feel right at home!
After chatting for a while we were amazed to find the sheer volume of beautiful pieces, both for fashion and utility! Some of the pieces even dated back to post-war!
One of the uniquely special things about 282 has got to be the absolute care for the product. When buying a luxury vintage tweed jacket, or a super special pair of pumps, you know you're in good hands, as each piece is inspected to meet a certain standard!
I thoroughly insist you check out the shop if you're in the area, or pop down for some quality vintage buys!
Thanks to Claudia for allowing us to take photos in her wonderful shop!
